I designed my first web page when I was a freshman in college, circa 1995. Back then there were no classes on web design, or fancy online tutorials. We learned HTML by making friends with the computer lab rats and 'viewing source code.' Over a decade later, I'm still learning.

trifecta: student, staff, faculty

The beautiful thing about the web is that it's constantly evolving. Every day someone publishes a new trick they learned in photoshop, or yet another method for creating standards-compliant CSS menus.

I'm a learner, an educator, and a professional. I've literally achieved the trifecta one can only obtain in a university setting: I work as a staff web developer at IUPUI; I am an adjunct faculty member of the school of informatics; and in my 'spare' time, I am earning my Master of Library Science degree.
